IT IS OVER

I MADE IT----I blogged for one month straight---YES—I am so proud of myself—it has been two years since I have done that—and I am celebrating my victory!!!!

I am really glad I did it---just to see if I could start and finish something—that seems to be a task I always have to work hard at.
Anyway----This weekend we are going to put up the lights on the big window—but as promised –here is an instagram pic of our Xmas Tree…

Truly it looks so much better in person but I like how the lights are sparkled in this pic.
Well I don’t know if I mentioned this—but Allen and my daughter were in an accident  a couple of months ago. A college student ran a red light and hit them broadside at 50 miles an hour…Allen hit his head—but my daughter’s neck and back got “wrenched” (for lack of a better term)…well she has been going to physical therapy and it turns out that now they suspect she has more then one herniated discs…SO NOT GOOD…She gets on her feet for more then 5 minutes and cries in pain…so if the MRI confirms this—she will be getting a lawyer…because then other more serious treatments will be needed. It is funny how the mother of the driver that hit them sent her son to Puerto Rico to live (he was in college here). Unbelievable!!! So tonight she is a bit bummed out—I feel so bad for her.

Allen went hog hunting tonight (just absolutely disgusting) but he loves to hunt—so hopefully he will at least have some fun!!

Again I had a BLAST blogging for a month in the NABLOPOMO challenge…

HAVE BEEN THINKING

I have a few blogs – one I was using to participate in special programs—one for my art—one for my every day life—one for poetry----well so many and I really cannot keep up with any of them. I also have discovered that I really need to remove my blog from face book networking---at first I thought was  a great idea  that would be for exposure for my blog but I am now discovering that there are certain people that I could careless if they ever read my blog again. I have felt myself give and give and have cared and been concerned and have tried to utmost to be supportive yet NOTHING in return----and not that i really did anything for anything in return---but human decency makes it pretty easy to just say hey – Hi there and I care…..!!!!

As you can tell this is my bitch session---I rarely have them but when I do I really tend to go just ramble on about the things that ticked me off. But to be honest the point of me writing this was to try and figure out what i am going to do with some many blogs and not enough time to keep up with them.

So for now (unless something else inspires or motivates me) I am going to use this blog “The Crazy Life” as my everything blog—to bitch – complain – share – show what I am doing in my art – tell off people – write about events in my life – well you get the idea---now if this should turn people off----OH WELL----as my father would say-Don’t let the door hit you where the Good Lord Split you”.

If you stay---well bless your heart---you just might like the new format---the new me---the new ideas I will be throwing out there. You just never know. I still don’t know how often I will keep up with the blog – but now that most of everything will be combined—I think it will feel more complete and flow better and perhaps even be more interesting!

MY CRAZY LIFE

WOW - there has been a mass exodus from AOL journals to the lovely BLOGGER...
All my dear friends from AOL are now here - I am hoping to catch up with as many as possible -
or I hope they find me. AOL has done the last of the final screwing of their customers and has
closed down their web pages and their journals...I believe it might also be their picture storage
area but I am not sure yet...they have given us exactly one month to try and save our pages, journals and pictures before the end of October because come November 1st, they will be gone.

There are some new toys I have discovered on the web - the fun one being TWITTER.
(you can see the lil pink box in my side bar - with my recent messages to all that follow me on twitter). A way to send out short messages to friends and whomever from your cell phone by texting or via the web...just a fun way to keep up to the minute news with friends, family and all.
I have been using TWITTER for I think about two weeks or so and really have enjoyed it.
You might see on web sites - that they tell you to add them to their twitter - because companies are also using TWITTER to keep their customers/clients up to date with news and such.
It is easy and fun and nothing to download...so head on over and check it out for yourself.

I also have joined NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month) (you can see the lil image on my sidebar). It started out as encouraging bloggers to take the month of November and blog everyday for one month - that is it...you write about whatever you want...just every single day....I always wanted to do it - so I joined their forum (which you do not have to) and I am committed to doing it...It is also one of the goals I set out for myself this year. Since I was sick the first half of the year - I definitely want to accomplish some of my goals - so at least I feel like I have accomplished something.

I should also mention that the daughter has started college - OMG - that officially made me feel old. I am so thrilled for her tho. This semester is NOT thrilling her at all because she has to take all required classes like Math and student life and such so that you can start taking classes of your choice. She is also taking an English (language arts) class, she likes english - but prefers to take creative writing but has to take this english 101 first.
She is attending the local community college for her first two years. She will be getting her A.A. degree in Graphic Designs..and then head to a state university for her B.A. in the same field. It is so much more easier to get into a state university here if you already have all the preliminaires out of the way and you are transferring with a degree already in hand.
Once she gets into her art and design classes she will be a very HAPPY camper...and time will fly by for her.
