WHERE WOULD I LIVE…

 

Today’s Prompt is –If you could live anywhere…where would it be?

I have always wanted to live in a log cabin home in the mountains---no neighbors (at least too close by)- away from traffic and malls and overcrowding of everything. I just know I would enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains –life in nature—walking with our dogs—and fishing in a river---that is my dream. I think it has become too easy for these strip malls to go up…for housing developments to build houses almost on top of each other—no room to breathe---move around. Less country – More City—ugh!!!

I watched a program about the country of Belize—the beautiful homes right on the bluest of waters----and I thought if I could not have my log cabin home…I could definitely see myself living in Belize. The houses are open—no need for AC—the breezes from the ocean keep everything cool. WOW---absolutely beautiful---tranquil—just the ocean sounds and you---I sense a pattern here---anywhere with just nature and me.

TAKING THE NABLOPOMO CHALLENGE

Today is the first day of the big challenge----to blog every day for a month---November is the month---I am determined to make it this year---last year I became very ill a week before thanksgiving and it lasted for three weeks---so this year I want to prove to myself that I can do it again.

There is a prompt (idea) for every day except weekends—in case you cannot think of something to blog about---I think I will use those prompts to help me along….

It’s my favorite because it explains my philosophy pretty much on life----you have been given this one life to live----full of talent, feelings, ideas, challenges, gifts, well you get the idea—and I firmly believe that you have to use it all up to the fullest—give back to the earth, to others…everything you’ve got to give—pour it all out—use it all up—because you cannot take it with you…at the same time—even if you come across hard or difficult times---it is life—you are alive to experience both the bad and the good---enjoy it all. Use it all up…smile..cry…feel it all---love it all…use up everything you got---and leave the planet—just a lil bit better then when you came…PEACE!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL

It is a busy month for birthdays-----My Baby---my lil girl turned 23 yesterday-----geeeeez!!!!

I remember the day she was born and how terrified I was that I was a new mommie.
She has been a fighter since the day she was born—She has a heart that is huge and full of compassion. She is sharp….has a killer sense of humor and so VERY creative!!!! Her talent just amazes me—she truly completes my life---she is the reason that I Was Born!!!

She truly does not ask for much and is very comfortable with herself and her world. She is very picky about her friends---when she first meets people she is shy---but once she gets to know them she is extremely outgoing and is not afraid to say exactly what is on her mind.

I am so proud of the young woman she has become---so proud that she enjoys life and lives it her way…I truly hope and pray that ALL HER DREAMS AND WISHES COME TRUE----

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EDDIE

I just wanted to wish my brother a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Although we are not as close as I truly wish we were—I still hope his day is amazing!!!

He is a man of great talent---really smart---very dedicated to his family---and just someone who works and is not afraid of hard work.

I like listening to him---his ideas---how he feels about the world around him----I can never get enough.
But the bottom line is I truly hope all his wishes and dreams come true!!! He deserves it all!

I will call him up tonight---to wish him well----which is a sort of tradition between us---again HAPPY BIRTHDAY EDDIE---I love ya!!

POLITICS

I have never been one to discuss politics (perhaps with the exception with family members) but I have found that discussing politics or religion brings out the best and worst in people….so I avoid that added stress.

I feel compelled right now though to say that I am tired of hearing people complain about what they do and do not like about both Obama and Romney. If  you do not like how the government is doing things—how our nation is moving ---then VOTE DAMMIT…put your vote where your mouth is. You voted these people in or you will be----from local sheriffs to county commissioners to mayors, governors,senators,house of representatives, to the president------VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE----vote for what you want ---let your vote speak for you---write letters to your government officials telling them you don't like what they are doing and if they don't fix it you will use that powerful tool you have and help vote them out….DO IT!!! I DARE YOU TO DO IT!!!
STOP YOUR BITCHING AND VOTE---write letters---start a blog and express what you think and feel--- write a letter to the editor of your newspaper—express your feelings—DO SOMETHING!!!

Personally the last election and this election—I am just not into either candidate—I can no longer tell where the lies begin and end and if the truth is somewhere in there----I do know That Obama made one statement when he first became President visiting another country apologizing for the American people and how arrogant we are---that one statement will get me to vote for the other candidate---I could not believe he said it and I will never forget it---

I am to the point that the commercials are garbage as far as politicians are concerned---do your own research----read---ask questions---and use your voice and VOTE---if you don't vote you have absolutely no right to bitch—if you don't do something to change what you don't like-you have no right to bitch---so again I DARE YOU ---DO SOMETHING AND VOTE!!!

CATCHING UP

First and foremost----I WILL NEVER FORGET…..

Today always makes me sad---just all that pain and insanity and loss---

Every day I have been spending a bit of time working on my digital painting and have finished another piece that i really like this time around---let me know what you think……

The painting makes me happy----so that gives me the motivation to just keep on going!!!!

Life again has become too chaotic here---the house is under construction and I am at the point I dont even want to live here anymore----I am so hoping some prayers get answered and all this gets fixed---it is just a mess!!!  I just wanted to say a quick hello and fill you all in on what is going on---be back soon—I promise!!!
